ABOUT ME

With a passion for all things hair and beauty, my inception into the industry began at the youthful age 15 when I completed my certificate qualification in make-up artistry. With all intentions to become a makeup artist whilst continuing to do hair on the side, through working in salon, I quickly realised that my true love and whole hearted fulfilment came from hairdressing, which I perused throughout my teenage years. 

 

Once qualified at age 19, I very quickly developed a strong and loyal clientele. Specialising in all aspects of colour, colour correction, blondes + balayages, my primary focus is to create seamless and beautiful hair, whilst simultaneously taking the approach that longevity between appointments and maintaining the integrity of the hair is at the core of my work. 

Aged 23 I ventured out on my own and established The Colour Studio, By Alexandra. Possessing a bold vision stylistically, as well as in terms of the type of environment I have been longing to curate, The Colour Studio has truly opened the doors to my creativity and to the expression of my originality and identity as a hairdresser. My priority is to provide an individualised service for each and every client who enters the studio and to ensure that there is a relaxing air of safety, comfort, liveliness and fun, allowing my clients to trust in my work and in turn, empowering me to thrive and deliver the highest standard of results.
